Welcome to our inaugural Release Day project gallery!
One month ago, we published a new experiment: a creative brief for anyone tired of letting their ideas gather dust - not because they don’t care, but because life, work, society tends to pull in other directions.
The brief was simple: what if we gave our personal creative projects a collective deadline? Not in a big group project kind of way, but in a way that felt mutually supportive and communally energising. A reason to press publish. A collective celebration.
One day. 24 hours. A Release Day.
A day to finally share that thing you’ve been working on - or meaning to start. A moment to say here it is, no matter how polished, messy, finished or in-progress it may be. Because releasing is part of the creative process, and it’s easier, and more joyful, when we do it together.
This gallery gathers some of what emerged. From websites to zines, prototypes to poems - welcome to what happens when we show up, together, and hit release.

About Creative Quests Release Day is an experiment by Creative Quests: a playground and global community for people fuelled by curiosity.
We design experiences that help people explore and express new corners of their creative potential.
Since 2021, we’ve led month-long, collective learning journeys (a.k.a. Quests) exploring an eclectic mix of themes. Along the way, we've cultivated a global community of curious spirits and built an extraordinary digital archive of creative perspectives and practices. Our Quests have led to intercontinental friendships, countless creative projects, reimagined career paths, people being lifted out of depression, and an overall renewed optimism for life.
In 2025 we will be releasing our first book, The Quester’s Guide for Exploring Your World (Issue One: Magic) written and designed by our community.
Release Day is part of our expanding universe.
